ser·en·dip·i·ty
noun
A "happy accident" or "pleasant surprise"; a fortunate mistake. Specifically, the accident of finding something good or useful while not specifically searching for it

Founded in 1954, the name would imply "Dessert". Being known for their frozen drinks, sundae's and other chocolaty indulges. It should be stated that they have a lot more to offer!

Serendipity3 actually has a MASSIVE menu, literally. Filled with pasta, hotdogs, salads and anything else your taste buds desire.

Prices range from a regular $6.00 dessert to a whopping $1,000 extravaganza! The restaurant is typically packed with the kids of Manhattan, tourists and New Yorkers.

Hearing all the hype about the frrrrozen hot chocolate- I had to give it a go.

Conclusion? Delicious and wayyy too much for one little gal. It's the perfect "50's style" share with a date kinda drink. Two straws…gazing into each other's eyes. See example below... ;)

Fun facts :

They have the most expensive dessert!! Its called the Golden Opulence Sundae, at a hefty $1,000.00 (you have to order a couple days in advance)

Andy Warhol visited regularly before he became well known, and he paid for dinner with drawings.

Serendipity is my favourite word!

They also have the most expensive hamburger! It sells for just under $300, and is aptly called "Le Burger Extravagant"   :)
